The Commission on Phytosanitary Measures (CPM) held its 17th face-to-face session from 27–31 March 2023 at the FAO Headquarters in Rome. The event was attended by approximately 400 participants from national and regional plant protection organisations, as well as other partner organisations of the International Plant Protection Convention (IPPC), including COLEAD. On 24 May 2022, the Ministry of Agriculture, Animal Husbandry and Fisheries (Ministerie van Landbouw, Veeteelt en Visserij – LVV) of the Republic of Suriname, in collaboration with COLEACP and CAHFSA, organised a 1-day workshop in the capital Paramaribo entitled “Eggplant R-SAT Validation”.
