Meetings with Malagasy universities and research centres

During a mission organised to launch the Fit For Market+ programme in Madagascar, a COLEACP team met with professors from the entomology and chemistry departments of the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Tananarive, the Ecole Supérieure des Sciences Agronomiques (Agriculture and Sustainable Development Department) and the Ecole Supérieure Professionnelle Agricole de Bevalala, in order to discuss collaboration opportunities.

Claire Perez, a project manager in COLEACP’s Training Department, presented COLEACP’s e-learning training platform and the e-Library to undergraduate and graduate students from the University of Tananarive and the Ecole Supérieure Professionnelle Agricole de Bevalala.

COLEACP’s e-learning training platform offers Malagasy students the opportunity to follow more than 30 self-taught courses covering eight training themes, ranging from agricultural production and processing to food safety, through to organisational management and development. Students also have access to more than 500 training documents – brochures, manuals, technical itineraries, etc. – available on the e-Library.

This activity is supported by the Fit For Market Plus programme, implemented by COLEACP within the Framework of Development Cooperation between the Organisation of African, Caribbean and Pacific States (OACPS) and the European Union.
