Just published: COLEACP Annual Report 2020

The Annual Report 2020 of COLEACP and its programmes is now online here.

The report focuses on the digitalisation of our activities. In 2020 Covid-19 made our daily lives more fragile – but also accelerated our activities, our local anchoring, and our use of digital tools. We have continued to deliver the planned support to our partners across the OACPS countries by helping to mitigate the negative impacts of Covid-19 on their production and marketing of horticultural products.

“The Covid-19 pandemic could also represent an opportunity for a paradigm shift regarding the way people produce and consume food.”

“In 2021 and beyond, the COLEACP family has the opportunity, and also the responsibility, to be a frontline player in our major societal challenges.”

“The benefit of working with COLEACP during 2020 was, first and foremost, the people. Their passion, commitment, skill and expertise is immeasurable – a pragmatic, holistic approach I find totally remarkable.”

Through its Fit for Market and STDF programmes (in Cameroon, Guinea and Togo), COLEACP has bounced back and continued to provide technical support to its OACPS member countries so that they can continue to ensure access to horticultural products. Also in 2020, we undertook new programmes and projects: the EU-funded NExT Kenya programme (Enhancing Horticultural Exports); support for UNIDO projects in Guinea Bissau and Guinea; and collaboration with an Enabel project in Benin.
